During our recent family vacation at Mampei Hotel, we experienced a mix of charming amenities and some disappointing aspects. While the hotel has a picturesque history and spacious rooms, we felt that the overall accommodation could benefit from renovation, given its faded glory. One of the highlights was the bike hire service, which allowed us to explore the surrounding area easily. We enjoyed a delightful ride into town, discovering local restaurants and shops along the way. The large gardens provided a lovely space for our family to unwind after our outings. The staff, particularly Katsu Toshi, went above and beyond in helping to locate a lost necklace, showcasing a commendable level of service. While Mampei Hotel has potential, some areas need attention to fully meet the expectations of families seeking a welcoming escape.
